These lessons are structured to be easy to use and consistent. There are key graphics in each lesson which will identify a consistent action. These are as follows:

in which you may hear the current phrase spoken aloud.
This button will lead you to a
.au format audio file for use with Macintosh,
ms-dos and UNIX platforms.
This button will lead you to a
.wav format audio file for use with ms-dos and Macintosh platforms.
The current phrase
written in Gaelic.
The current phrase translated
into English.
The current
phrase written phonetically.
When there are
exercises included with a frame, there will be forms which will allow
you to test and apply the Gaelic being presented. With these pages, you
will be given two choices for handling the form, either the
Submit button or the
Reset button. Of course,
if your browser does not handle forms, you will be unable to use
these exercises. Two browsers which can handle forms are
Mosaic and Netscape.
Stop: This button will exit you from
the lessons into another form which is a questionnaire. We would appreciate
your filling out this questionnaire. This will allow us to ascertain
the value of this project and allow us to make newer versions better.
This button will take
you to the next page. It is not found on those pages with exercises, because
your answers will be checked before you can continue.
