RSAMD VISITS SABHAL MÒR OSTAIG

RSAMD Principal, Professor John Wallace, and Head of the Department of Scottish Traditional Music and Piping, Brian MacNeill, visited Sabhal Mòr Ostaig this week where they met with staff and students and learned about the work of the College.

Sabhal Mòr now offers a BA in Gaelic and Traditional Music and Course Director, Dr John Purser, outlined the College’s plans for the development of the course.

Sabhal Mòr Director Professor Norman N Gillies said:

“It was a pleasure to welcome John and Brian to the College and to have an opportunity to discuss areas of common interest.  We look forward to continuing our conversations with RSAMD and to developing opportunities for co-operation, which will be of future benefit to both staff and students in each institution.”
